My Students:
Fifteen middle school students had their dream come true as they placed 1st in the KS Science Olympiad Tournament. They will represent the state of KS at the National Science Olympiad Tournament in Wisconsin. In order to make the dream of this competition a reality, we are needing to raise funds for hotel rooms for our trip ahead.
My Project:
Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events. Students compete in events related to genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. Through Science Olympiad, students, teachers, parents, principals and business leaders bond together and work toward a shared goal of building an appreciation and passion for STEM in students’ lives.
My Students Need:
We are in need of funds for hotel rooms for our trip to Menomonie, Wisconsin.
