Taste of the Town 2025

Taste of the Town is an evening supporting mental health and wellness in Olathe Public Schools. 

Your support and donations to the Braden Robertson Student Mental Health Fund help bring therapy to students when and where they need it, including our HELP Clinic, as well as provide a mental health co-responder who assists students, teachers, and families in a mental health crisis.

Olathe New Educator Reception Welcomes Brand New Teachers

We celebrated our BRAND NEW to the district teachers at KCWine Co. We were so excited to see the new faces and provide a space for them to unwind, hang out with other new teachers, meet administrators, taste some great local food trucks, and win a few great prizes! A fun and energizing way to start the new school year!

NASA-Inspired Missions Spark Curiosity at Green Springs

Green Springs Elementary students are starting their NASA resumes early with robotics and coding activities related to NASA missions. These materials are provided through an Olathe Public Schools Foundation grant.

"We hope to integrate the hands-on learning of coding and robotics with real-world disciplines across various categories," said Green Springs Elementary Quest Teacher Genia Deets.

Special Needs Students Learn Job Skills with Raven Roasterie

Historically, students with disabilities have had less favorable post-graduate outcomes than their general education peers. This includes their employment status, ability to live independently, and post-secondary education opportunities. The new Olathe Northwest High School Raven Roastery offers students with disabilities the opportunity to develop essential job skills in a supported environment.
