My Students:
We have 85 wonderful, spirited first graders (6 and 7 years old) who at times all struggle with their emotions and how to appropriately manage them. We have discovered a classroom changing program that has help turn our little upset and frustrated moments into powerful teaching moments that will forever shape the way they deal with conflict.
My Project:
We are looking to expand our Conscious Discipline practice within our classrooms. We were introduced to this classroom changing management program a few years ago. It has transformed our students social and emotional intelligence in a postive way. We are excited to add to our resources so we can contiue and better implement all that Conscious Discipline offers.
My Students Need:
We are needing one copy of the Conscious Discipline book, four copies of the I Choose Board (to help with emotional choices), four of the "Time Machines," four "Safe Place Mats" and four sets of Shubert books.
