My Students:
Students who attend SOAR are at risk for failing if they were to remain in the larger high school setting. Students are from all ethnic backgrounds, and include homeless students, students with children, students of low income families, and students who are credit deficient.
My Project:
The purpose of this grant is to provide for students, basic needs, so that they can focus on learning and not on their basic needs. Some of our students do not have hygiene products at home, and are at risk for being teased about their appearance and smell as a result.
My Students Need:
This grant is for hygiene products including shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, baby wipes, baby shampoo.
