My Students:
The fifth graders at Northview Elementary are curious, developing & discerning readers. They are a competitive group that thrives on new challenges placed before them. As they try out new genre they are growing an amazing appetite for books and reading! It is important that we feed and celebrate that desire to develop as growing readers!
My Project:
The 5th Grade Reading Challenge Celebration is a way for us to promote and encourage a culture of reading in our school. Setting and achieving goals as a reader is an important part of their growth and learning. This celebration will honor students in their final year of elementary school for a job well done and give them the chance to celebrate all they have accomplished!
