2023-24 Classroom Grant Awards

Olathe Public Schools Foundation Awards 40 Grants Totaling over $94,000

Over two weeks in November the Olathe Public Schools Foundation surprised 40 Olathe educators with classroom grants totaling over $94,000. Grants were awarded to preschool through high school classrooms and funded student needs and innovative ideas including: social emotional regulation support, new PE activities, expansion of the Low Rider Bike Club, bilingual books and binoculars for high school astronomy students.

Special funding from Olathe Medical Center, Atmos Energy, the Susan Spears Memorial Kindergarten Fund, the Kohler Family and the Tucker Family allowed the OPSF to fund even more grants.
