My Students:
Middle school students need to collaborate, problem solve, and socialize. While iPads have allowed our students to explore many new and exciting virtual environments, there is still great need for students to explore with hands on activities, or as we used to call it: tinker.
My Project:
Currently, we have funding for MakerSpace activities that are non-technical: chess, origami, and puzzles. We would like for students to be able to discover the worlds of robotics, circuitry, and physics in an exploratory environment during their daily academic extension time.
My Students Need:
We would like to purchase a Lego Machine kit, Cublets, Snap Circuit sets, a LittleBits set with accessories, and 2 KEVA Contraptions building sets.
