My Students:
We have middle class students as well as lower income renting families at Brougham. Our students are excited to learn with their peers each and every day. They love to play in sports and work as part of a team.
My Project:
Sit Spots are ways for our students to know where to sit on the carpet when we are doing read aloud, learning something new, or just working together as a group. We do lots of activities where we need to sit on the carpet so these would help the first graders know where to go in a quick way so we can spend more time learning.
My Students Need:
Our Kindergarten and first graders need a way to learn about personal space as well as transitioning quickly and quietly.
