A Hole-in-One for Olathe Schools: 29th Annual Golf Classic Raises a Record $180,000+!

On Thursday, June 11, the Olathe community officially stepped up to the tee! A sold-out crowd of 144 golfers, dedicated sponsors, and big-hearted volunteers took over Prairie Highlands Golf Course for the 29th Annual Golf Classic, presented by The University of Kansas Health System and DS Bus Lines.

While the clouds threatened rain a few times, they ultimately only delivered heat, humidity, and a little extra Kansas wind! But nothing could slow down the incredible energy on the course.

Thanks to an overwhelmingly generous community, the event raised a record-breaking $180,000+ for Olathe Public Schools’ staff and students! These vital funds will directly fuel classroom innovation, create unique student opportunities, meet basic needs, and reward our educators and staff for their outstanding efforts.

Leadership That Drove Success

A tournament this spectacular doesn't just happen. The dedication and leadership brought by our phenomenal tournament co-chairs, Denny Knop and Jason Tucker, was truly unmatched. Thank you both for guiding this year's event to a record-setting finish!
