Olathe Public Schools Foundation Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement governs the manner in which the Olathe Public Schools Foundation (OPSF) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (“User”) of the www.olathepublicschoolsfoundation.org website (“site”). OPSF is committed to safeguarding the information Users entrust to OPSF and believes every User should know how OPSF utilizes the information it collects. OPSF reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. You should check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will mean that you accept those changes.

The Information We Collect

OPSF collects personally identifiable information, which may include your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. Unless you give us permission to do so, we will not sell, share, license, trade, or lease your personally identifiable information other than as specified in this Privacy Policy. You do not have to provide us with any personally identifiable information to visit our Site.

Cookies and Third-Party Ads

We may use “cookies” to track how Users user our Site. A cookie is a piece of software that a web server can store on the User’s PC to identify the User should they visit the Site again. While not all of the information that we collect from Users is personally identifiable, it may be associated with personally identifiable information that Users provide us through our Site. We may now or in the future use third-party ad networks to serve ads on our site. The cookies received with banner ads served by these networks are used to collect and build anonymous behavioral profiles by these companies to deliver targeted ads and tracking referrals, and OPSF does not have access to this information.

Disclosure of Information

OPSF may disclose information collected from Users to trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners who will use the information for the purposes outlined herein. We may also disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information collected from Users to investors and potential partners.

Updating Information

At any time, you may obtain a summary of your personally identifiable information on record with OPSF. At any time, you may request (i) that OPSF correct any such personally identifiable information; or (ii) that such personally identifiable information be removed from OPSF marketing databases. To make any request described above, write to: Olathe Public Schools Foundation, Attention: Webmaster, 315 N. Lindenwood, Olathe, KS 66062.

Please be sure to provide your exact e-mail address, name, address and/or telephone number(s) so that we can handle your request correctly.

You should be aware that it is not technically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to us from our system. The need to back-up our systems to protect information from inadvertent loss means a copy of your personally identifiable information may exist in a non-erasable form that will be difficult or impossible for us to locate. We promise that promptly after receiving your request, all personally identifiable information stored in databases we actively use and other readily searchable media will be updated, corrected, changed or deleted, as appropriate, as soon as reasonably practicable.

Security of Information

Information about Users that is maintained on our systems is protected using industry standard security measures. However, we cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on, or transmitted from our systems will be completely secure.
