Debbie Swinney, State Farm Insurance Agency
Debbie was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Married to John, they have a son, 28, who recently moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to pursue his career as a computer engineer. The Swinney’s daughter is a nurse at Olathe Medical Center. 
Debbie began her career with State Farm in 1979 as a team member for an agent. She achieved her Bachelors in Human Resources Management from Friends University while working for the agent. Debbie became an agent herself in 1991.
Debbie loves to cook, garden, golf, water & snow ski. She is involved in a variety of community organizations, and has served on the board of the Olathe Public Schools Foundation since 2005. "I am grateful to be part of an Olathe business that supports the Foundation. We all benefit greatly from the education our kids receive. It's an honor to be able to give back."
