Nearly 800 district supporters gathered on October 25 to hear Dr. Pat All’s State of the District address and to celebrate the contributions of the Olathe Public Schools Foundation to the success of Olathe students and teachers.
Guests at the 19th Annual Autumn Breakfast helped raise more than $153,000 which will directly benefit Olathe students and teachers though Foundation programs, including classroom grants, college scholarships, and various need-based funds. The Foundation highlighted the OPS staff recognition programs - the Educator Excellence and CEERA awards, the crowd-sourcing fund raising platform Fund-a-Need, and the Wimmer Student Care Fund.
Two incredible funding matches were also announced at the breakfast: a $10,000 match sponsored by the Olathe Noon Rotary and other donors matching all gifts made toward online Fund-a-Need projects and a $10,000 match sponsored by McCownGordon for the Wimmer Student Care Fund.
